Recently I have bought an HP Laser 107a printer for my personal usage.

Unfortunately, I was missed that it was not compatible with Mac OS. After trying a couple of hours I have found a thread that says,

HP Laser 107a driver for macOS is not available from the HP website or Apple Software Update. However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X.

How to connect HP Laser 107a to Mac?

The specific HP Laser 107a Mac Driver is Not Available at this Time. But the rebranded HP printers can use Samsung Mono Laser Printer drivers.

HP Laser 107a printer is compatible with Samsung Xpress SL-M2020 Laser Printer driver. First please download Samsung Universal Print and Scan Driver from here.

Then run Printer driver.pkg inside in the MAC_Printer folder. And you can run ICDM.pkg under the MAC_ICDM folder. Now you are one step away from taking prints.

Connect the printer to Mac using a USB cable and make sure the printer is power on. Open System Preferences -> Printers and Scanners. Then click Add(+) to set up the printer. Select printer driver as Samsung M2020 Series.

Now all set up. Feel free to try this method for other printers as well with compatible drivers. Good Luck…!!!
